Went 4wding today. Starting at Woodford we made our way up through Kennilworth State Forest. Stopped for morning tea at East Kilcoy Creek.
Our destination was supposed to be Jimna, unfortunately the bridge after Booloumba Falls was closed so we had to make our way home. Oh well, still a great day out.
In a bid to end our "who stole the quilt through the night'' fights. I bought a Super King sized continental quilt (2.4 x 2.7m). Unfortunately there are limited quilt covers and not in a style we like. So I got out my trusty sewing machine to make one. What a mammoth task!
Yep, that's right, it's pierced! Man, it hurt like nothing else. I mean, I have gone through labour and given birth without pain relief but this really hurt! Reason: just wanted to do something a bit wild.
Last long weekend (Anzac) we went camping at Elanda Point with another family and Mum and Dad and Lisa. I was all set to take some pictures of Cameron's first camping experience but our camera decided to die on us, so you'll just have to use your imagination. The weather was perfect not too hot during the day but warm enough for the kids to swim, a little cold at night but not freezing. Sarah and the girls from the other family all played well together (for the most part). Cameron looked so cute all rugged up with beanie and mittens! All in all it was a great weekend of relaxation and family fun.
P.S. I got a new camera as an early Mother's Day present.
Here's an update on Cameron....this pic is of Cameron's first time in the big bath. He loves being able to stretch out. He had his two month immunisation on Wednesday and screamed the medical centre down. But we survived.
Just a quick update on Sarah.... Loves pre-school and is starting to talk about her new friends. Strictly girls, not the boys! She had her first homework sheet last week and couldn't wait to start it.
She is a great help with Cameron, even if it is just keeping him amused while I have a shower.
I have been married for nearly 10 years to my wonderful handsome hubby Simon and I am Mummy to Princess Sarah (5yrs old) and Cutie Pie Cameron (11 months)
